This gorgeous
example of an '83 Imperial, crystal beige with two tone beige and brown leather
interior, was formerly owned by Ron Graham, who submitted the pictures shown
above.
Ron
described the car in 2003 as follows: "It runs far better than when
it rolled out of its Windsor, Ontario factory in April, 1983. It was one
of the very last ones produced of this body-style.
Three
years ago I had a new remanufactured 318 installed. It has 7,000 miles
on this engine. The car itself has under 130,000 miles. Ten years ago
the engine was carbureted. Over the years, many, many thousands of
dollars have been spent on this beauty and thus the mechanics in this
car are top-notch and it drives smoothly, without a hitch, and it can
confidently and dependably be driven anywhere.
Among the
many systems worked on and improved is the A/C which has been brought
into the 21st century with environmentally friendly refrigerant. As the
original freon disappears from the market, this car will be pumping out
plenty of cold air.
Out of
personal taste, I’ve equipped the car with custom wheels (w/Michelin
tires). The original snowflake wheels also come with the car as does the
original radio/cassette. I’ve had installed a Clarion CD player with
Boston speakers.
If you’re
looking for a near flawless example of Chrysler’s classic coach of the
80’s, you’re reading about it now. This car is smooth-riding,
dependable, and gorgeous."
