Klebert Hall's 1969 Imperial Crown Four Door Hardtop

Imperial Home Page -> Imperials by Year -> 1969 -> Klebert Hall

The car is Surf Green Metallic with a green interior and a green vinyl top. The top is less than ten years old by the looks of it, and there's some rust-bubbling visible underneath in the usual places, but it doesn't look too bad. It isn't enormously optioned. It has A/C, tinted glass, power front bench, power windows with manual vent windows, tilt-o-scope steering column, towing package (looks factory, but it doesn't have the .323 rear end), and AutoTemp. The interior is in excellent condition generally. The headliner is original but okay except for a hole under one sun visor. The carpet is shot on the passenger's side front, where there was a leak and I had the floor welded. The vinyl on the top of the back seat is split, but the fabric is original and good.

I'm in Rhode Island, and the car's fourth owner. It's been in R.I. and eastern Connecticut it's whole life - the original owner bought it near New London. I've put about 50,000 miles on it in 3 1/2 years -- I even drove it the last seven months more-or-less without front brakes, as I had little other choice. It's always been dependable, even with it's problems.
