The 1967 Imperial at the Tournament of Roses

At the 1967 Tournament of Roses in Pasadena, California, the Rose Queen and the Grand Marshal were photographed in Imperial convertibles. Presumably these photos were taken on January 2, the day of the parade and Rose Bowl football game.

This 8x10" photographic print was purchased in an auction. The reverse side bears the following caption: FIT FOR A QUEEN -- Imperial convertible is the official car for the 78th Tournament of Roses. Shown with the official car are tournament Queen Barbara Hewitt, seated behind wheel, and members of her court. Also present on the reverse is the number F509-11, and the address of Vanguard Photography of Cahuenga Blvd., Hollywood, California (now apparently defunct). (Click on photo for full-size version.)
