SO NUMBER: Shipping Order Number includes a four digit "date built", plus a four digit "daily sequence" code.
Month codes are as follows:
01=January 02=February 03=March 04=April 05=May 06=June 07=July 08=August 09=September 10=October 11=November 12=December
These codes are followed by a two digit code, from "01" to "31" indicating the day of the month.
Following the four digit "date built" code is a four digit sequence for the cars built on that day.
FOR EXAMPLE: 0526 0017 indicates a car which was built on May 26, 1964, and was the seventeenth car built that day.
BDY: Body Style (a three-digit number). All Imperial body style numbers begin with "9". See production chart for body style numbers.
TRM: Interior Trim (a three digit code comprised of a letter, a number, and another letter). Trims for Crown Series begin with "M", and LeBaron trims begin with "H".
PNT: Exterior Paint Color(s) (a combination of two letters, or two letters and a number). The first letter indicates the lower body color, the second letter indicates the upper body color.
