1961-63 Imperial Engine Decals

The purpose of this page is to provide a reference to the restorer of an Imperial's engine compartment. All of the following decals can be obtained from Gary Goers and also from Year One.

We begin with the air cleaner decal, which is located on the main body of the air cleaner towards its bottom edge on the passenger side of the car:

This decal goes on the Auto Pilot housing. There is a circular shaped stamping on the housing where this decal fits. The lettering is silver, and the decal is of a shiny, foil like appearance:

The next decal was placed on the radiator cowl for Imperials that were sold in the warmer climates:

This is another cowl decal that has been seen on the radiator or the cowl:

Also, this cowl decal goes in front of the battery compartment:

Finally, this is a valve cover decal. Like the Auto Pilot decal, it is made of foil. The background is gold with a red oval outline and black lettering:
