This incredible LeBaron came up for sale in the summer of 2008. Here is what the seller had to say about it.
This very rare and stunning 1960 Imperial Lebaron has gone through a major update. The pictures tell the story of a very low mileage easily used classic. it features all new leather interior, new paint and chrome bumpers. I purchased the car as a go to dinner vehicle but got so into it, I just didn't stop. When you look under the hood you will see the handy work of Paul @ Advanced Auto Detail and $4000.00 dollars worth of work later. This car is drop dead gorgeous and has 20 miles on the restoration, you will not be disappointed. Remember this, you can spend 10K on a worn out car but you will still spend 50k doing it over, restorations done correctly are very expensive.
Some of the questions asked before are "what's been done mechanically?" Everything that wasn't perfect has been rebuilt to new or better than new to make a make a great car even better. This car was not ordered from the factory with A/C but I have a shop that can install a modern (better than original) unit for $3,500.00 and it will be totaly hidden. Up here in San Francisco we would not have a reason for A/C. The interior seat color is a light blue/grey leather, I am not sure if you can tell from the photos, they are perfect.
We hope the new owner will write in and tell us more about this rare beauty!
