The following five photos were submitted by ImperialClub member Mark in Michigan. Here are Mark's comments regarding the photos:
The photos were found in the 1958 Imperial folder at the Skillman Branch of the Detroit Public Library, where the National Automotive History Collection is located.
The photos were taken by GM Engineering, apparently as part of a competitive vehicle comparison. Apparently they purchased a brand new base Imperial (a Custom) for the study and took the photos as part of the study.
I thought it was interesting to see detailed photos of an "as built" car when new.
