This rare Crown Imperial Formal Sedan sold recently for just under $32,000. Here's what the seller had to say about it .... This is a VERY RARE 1955 Crown Imperial 8-passenger Formal Sedan. All original and all there. A rare opportunity. Body in excellent condition; one small rust spot in front of driver door. Has all options and a 331 HEMI. LP Gas Alternative Fuel System added in 1964; runs on either gasoline or propane. In 1997, a renter drove the vehicle into a storage unit that I own and it has not been started since. Inspected by Missouri State Highway Patrol and completed all paperwork to receive an Abandonded Property Title due to years of non-payment of storage fees. Driver window needs replaced. Also, the trunk and back floorboards show no sign of rust. There is one patch panel on the drivers side front floorboard. We hope the new owner will write in an tell us more about this beauty!
