A few months back, a 50 Crown Imperial came up on Ebay and I bid on it but was outbid.  The car was in the DC area and I contacted the winner (who was in Rockford Il) expressing an interest in the car.  Things happened and the car was hauled to Rockford and the new owner decided he was in over his head.  In mid April I drove from Alabama to Rockford to buy the car but when I saw the condition of the chrome and pot metal decided not to pursue the deal. Six weeks later, a deal was done and ANOTHER 1500 mile trip later the Crown is at his new home.

Unfortunately, it is not in as good a condition as the photos might show and a TOTAL restoration is in order.
