1926 - CHRYSLER IMPERIAL SEDAN This auction features a RARE 1926 Chryseler Imperial 5 Passenger Sedan. The Chrysler Imperial Sedan has been stored in a local barn since the Sixties (1960s). This car starts and runs good on a gas can. The engine runs with good oil pressure and no knocks. The radiator leaks and the tin side covers are rusty. The gas tank will need cleaning and the fuel pump must be changed. The hydaulic brakes will need rebuilding. The car moves fine and has a smooth clutch. The interior is all original and will make a good pattern. Several knobs are broken or missing. The glass is all good, there are no cracks. The body is solid as a rock. It has some dents in the rear body sides. The fenders have had some damage over the years. The E 80 Series Imperials had a 288 cubic inch, six (6) cylinder engine that produced 92 horsepower. These bodies were built by Fisher Body Company. This Imperial Sedan is one of 9,114 built in 1926. This car weighs 4100 pounds. The 1926 Chrysler Imperial 5 Passenger Sedan has a Clear Wisconsin Title. This Imperial is a Good start for a restoration or Hot Rod Project! Good Luck in the Bidding!
