1957 Imperial Sedan
There are a couple of subtle differences between a 1957 and a 1958 Imperial. The most notable is the front bumper which had a 'bi-plane' style in 1957 but is a solid single piece in 1958. Quad head lights became standard in 1958, but, because they were still illegal in some states in 1957, some 1957's were built with just one headlight, which was larger in circumference than those in the quad set up. The grille is also different.
Notice that this is a sedan, and has a third window on each side, behind the passenger door. This is absent on the hard tops, as the 'C' pillar had to be much beefier to accomodate the lack of a 'B' pillar
