From John:
There are many out there that carry the same generic replacement, "will fit-should work" type. Steele seems to be the only one reproducing any OEM types for Imperials. These are still limited to a very few years. I don't believe any of the late 50's through 66 have any coverage , with the exception of the windshield header for the convertibles.
From Gary Finger:
I think that before I looked anywhere else for rubber weatherstripping, I would contact the Steele Rubber Products. They are very knowledgeable about Classic Cars and are very nice about helping with questions and sending the correct parts with a 100% Money Back Guarantee!
From Karl Kirchner:
I have seen Steele listed as a source in many places here on this site but let me say that at least for 64-66 they have absolutely nothing. I asked if they would be willing to manufacture the parts that I needed and they said no because there is little market and it would not be worth while for them. Despite my wanting to pay for the replication of the part they indicated it might be an 8 month lead time before they could even consider it. They were polite but alas had no suggestions.
