From Tom:
I currently have a wheel out to Quality Restorations Inc. The owner is a fellow named Dennis, who seems to be a genuinely nice man. Please note that I do not yet have the finished product back from him, so cannot comment as to the quality of his work.
From Henry:
I highly recommend Dennis Crooks, based upon our excellent 60 300F re-done steering wheel. I tried him for a 60 Imperial, but he does not have a mold for that one. Don't know what he has for other year Imperials. Definitely worth a try as his work is first rate.
From Russell:
I called Dennis about restoring my '65 steering wheel and he doesn't have a mold and said it would cost $4000 to make one. No interest in Imperial wheels so he doesn't have time to invest in them. Enough said. Please don't get me wrong. Dennis at Quality could not have been nicer. He was never short with me or condescending about Imperial people, except to say that there weren't enough of us spending money on wheel restoration. We actually had a long, pleasant conversation about cars, new and old, and restoration.
