Elvis Presley
and Gary Lockwood play crop-dusters Mike Edwards and Danny Burke.
"Hey, what's with the razor sharp turns? There's no Silver
Cup at the end of this run!", Danny complains of Elvis'
flying. |

something more interesting down below, a 1962 Imperial Crown
convertible... |

two young women. "Nice scenery around here," remarks
Elvis. "Yeah, if you've seen one potato, you've seen 'em
all," replies his friend, unimpressed. |

"I think
I just spotted a couple of sweet potatoes", he
emphasizes. "You're a little confused, leader--those down
there are russets", insists his buddy. Elvis: "Whatever
they are, I'll take a bushel!" |

...Elvis' pal
realizes what he's really looking at. "Ah, chicks--I thought
so." "How about the one in the red dress?" offers
Elvis. "Ankles are a little thick, but, uh, she's more your

Danny:
"Look, I don't care if you wreck your half of the plane, but mine I
wanna keep. Pull her up!" Elvis: "You just don't
know a sweet potato when you see one." Danny: "No, but I
know a telephone pole when I see one...pull her up!" |

They appear to
be in luck, as two more young women approach in ANOTHER 1962 Imperial
convertible, this time in black. |

"Imperial"
nameplate is clearly visible as the girls pull to a stop.
"Which way are you heading?" ask the guys.
"North." "North, well isn't that a kick...north,
just like us!" they echo, hopeful for a ride. |

"Would
either of you gentleman have a match? Something's happened to our
lighter." Poor, gullible Danny...he should have known
something fishy was going on. As if the lighter would stop working
on an Imperial! |

me," volunteers Danny, pulling out his lighter. "Solid gold plate,
honey, but it's all yours." |

But no sooner
does he hand her the lighter, than the women peel out in their '62
Imperial Crown convertible, before the guys can grab their stuff and hop
in the back seat. |
