I didn't bother to watch this movie (looked pretty dumb), but it does have some nice footage of a 1956 Imperial parade phaeton, apparently the
New York car.
Below are several still pictures from the movie. In order to play, just
click any of the pictures below--click on a small picture for a small (1.5 Meg)
movie, or a large picture to view a larger, high quality clip suitable for
viewing in "full-screen" mode; file size is 9.9 Meg. Left click to
view the movie directly, or save to your hard drive by right-clicking and
selecting "Save Target As". If you need help viewing, go to our "How
To Play Imperial Movies" page. Enjoy!
The pope comes to visit, riding in a black Imperial parade phaeton. I refer to these as 1956 models since they were updated with 1956 grilles, headlight bezels and tailfins, but have 1955-looking round wheel openings, a unique "Forward Look" emblem on the front fender, and interiors dating back to their 1952 origins. |
