| The Broadwater Beach Resort provided the perfect vintage location for this vintage car gathering! Our group had several rooms reserved in this great hotel with the perfect '50s atmosphere. The long holiday weekend allowed ample time for plenty of driving behind the wheels of these fine cars, exploring the Bolixi, MS, area and enjoying the Gulf of Mexico. The weather for the weekend was cool but sunny, just right for a cruise along the beach! |

One of many points of interest in the area is the Friendship Oak Tree, shown above. This enormous live oak tree is more than 500 years old! It is located on the Gulf Park Campus of the University of Southern Mississippi. |
